Background

 

Perry Louis, the man behind Shiftless Shuffle, has danced and DJ'd for many famous Jazz, Funk and Soul artists and is hugely respected on the international circuit. Perry specializes in playing Vinyl and likes to know that wherever he plays, his audience gets a real ‘Oldskool’ experience.  He’s passionate about putting Dancefloor Jazz firmly on the map of the UK’s music and club world and as well as DJing regularly at Ronnie Scott’s, CLF and the South London Soul Train, Perry hosts a weekly Dancefloor Jazz radio show (Jazz after Dark) on Mi-Soul Radio.

 

Kev Beadle’s musical tastes are firmly rooted in Jazz, Jazz-Funk, Fusion, Latin and Brazilian music. He has been one of London’s underground Jazz and Soul scene's most respected selector/tastemakers for over 35 years. He has played all over the world at various club nights and festivals and has never been afraid to push musical boundaries playing a broad spectrum of music rooted in Jazz and Soul from days gone by right through to the present day.  Since the early ‘90s Kev has been responsible for around 15 compilation albums for labels such as Blue Note, BBE, Charly Records and his own Clean Up Records with more possibly in the pipeline. He also presents his very popular weekly ‘Mind Fluid’ show on Totally Wired Radio every Wednesday 10am – 1pm.

 

Gordon Klass has become known as a serious Latin and Afro Cuban expert on the UK Dancefloor Jazz scene. He was the resident DJ at ‘Havanna Club’ in Fulham for 5 years and is current resident DJ at ‘The George IV’ in Chiswick. Gordon is being featured at international festivals, such as Giles Peterson’s We Out Here and Southport Festival; he’s the DJ currently taking the world by storm.
